Terms of Service

The rules, responsibilities, and rights that govern access to and use of MuseCanto.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the operator of MuseCanto ("we", "us", or the "Operator") for your access to and use of MuseCanto at musecanto.com (the "Service").

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Contracting party

The Service is MuseCanto, provided by the entity operating MuseCanto. The website is https://musecanto.com. For support, contact support@musecanto.com.

If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Service

MuseCanto is a creator workspace that may provide:

  • accounts, authentication, organizations, and profile management;
  • knowledge bases, topics, documents, and rich-text editing;
  • collaboration, version history, import, export, and publishing workflows;
  • AI-assisted writing and chat when enabled;
  • integrations, analytics, billing, and support.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. Where practical, we will give advance notice of material adverse changes affecting paid access.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract.
  • Registration details must be accurate and kept current.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting credentials and API keys.
  • Notify support@musecanto.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You must use the Service lawfully and respect applicable laws, platform rules, and third-party rights.

You must not:

  • upload or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing, or malicious content;
  • disrupt, probe, scan, reverse engineer, or bypass Service security except where law permits;
  • use bots, scrapers, or automation that imposes unreasonable load or evades controls;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide unauthorized Service access without written permission;
  • distribute spam, malware, or unauthorized commercial messages;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

The Community Guidelines form part of these use rules.

5. Plans, billing, and taxes

Available plans, features, billing cycles, prices, taxes, and payment methods are shown on the pricing and checkout pages at the time of purchase.

Recurring subscriptions renew for the selected billing period unless canceled before renewal. One-time purchases do not renew. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge the selected payment method for applicable amounts.

We may change future prices or plan features. Where required, we will provide reasonable notice before a new subscription price takes effect. Failed or disputed payments may result in suspension or reduced access while the matter is resolved.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel recurring access through available account or payment-provider controls. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically reverse a completed charge.

Refund eligibility depends on the offer shown at purchase, actual product use, payment-provider rules, and mandatory consumer law. To request review, email support@musecanto.com with the account email, order ID, purchase date, and reason.

7. Content and intellectual property

The Service, software, design, trademarks, documentation, and underlying technology belong to us or our licensors.

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content and instructions do not violate law or third-party rights.

8. AI and third-party services

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for publication. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding how to use them.

Third-party sign-in, AI, payment, storage, publishing, and integration services operate under their own terms and may change or become unavailable.

9. Enforcement and termination

For violations of these Terms, law, or third-party rights, we may warn you, require corrective action, restrict features or API access, remove unlawful content, suspend or terminate accounts, or pursue remedies allowed by law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Terms that should survive by their nature—including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—remain effective after termination.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that the Service will meet every requirement or that third-party platforms and AI outputs will remain accurate or available.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, or business continuity.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the claim or USD 100, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Disputes should first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, either party may submit the dispute to the people's court with jurisdiction at the Operator's domicile.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using the Service and cancel active recurring access.
